More of the same
Well, as the title suggests, this week was much the same as last week. I did manage to arrive around half an hour early though, so I had plenty of time to set my stuff up in the classroom before school started. Also took the opportunity to briefly look through the stuff the kids had done so far, and organise what we would need to do today.We continued with adding in all the content, like the previous session. A few more formatting errors turned up, but the kids are slowly learning to figure their own way through troubleshooting. They still can't understand code (because I never taught them), but they've learnt how to use the tag selector to pick individual tags and check their properties. All from watching me do it. I'm sometimes really amazed at how quickly kids pick new things up.
Beyond that, nothing much else. We managed to complete most of the pages today, and I gave them a little pep talk at the end of the session about how we only have two more sessions left and they really need to be moving as fast as they can. They seemed to get the idea, and I think they want to see the website completed as much as I do.
Next week: Completing the final couple of pages, and hopefully linking the whole site together.
